The purpose of the Title IV-A Program is to improve students' academic achievement by increasing the capacity of the LEA schools, and local communities to:

provide all students with access to a well-rounded education;
improve school conditions for student learning; and
improve the use of technology in order to improve the academic achievement and digital literacy of all students.

Read sections 4101 and 4102 of Title IV, Part A of ESSA on the Title IV-A from the Office of Safe and Healthy Schools.

Review parts of the Non-Regulatory Guidance Document for a deeper understanding of the purpose of the Title IV-A Program, and how to use it to support the academic achievement of your students.
